This building that looks like a church or some structure erected for religious purpose, except that it is much taller than your usual church, is the Sanctuarium. Its main purpose is to provide the needs of those who already passed-away. It contains facilities such as crematorium, columbarium (place where the urn containing the ashes of cremated body is stored) and chapels. This photo was taken from the pedestrian overpass that connects the two sides of Araneta (the said underpass has now been torn down possibly due to the government’s plan to construct a vehicle underpass in Quezon-Araneta intersection).
